The Tunnel!

you have to squat actually or kneeing down,

But for this tunnel, open for visitors, they have widen it!,

The tunnel is not straight line, but rather zig zag. Means to confused the enemy and to stop bullet.

this leas us to this area, where an array of DIY traps means to kill the enemy soldier is shown and explained.

some of the sample traps, With various type, targeted to kill the enemy soldiers. Either shallow hole , or middle depth ,,it will some how hurt the person accidentally fall into it.

with various tunnel under ground, they must take fresh air to breath!, see how the used this small hole as the ventilation point!.

But not sure, if this hole is the original holes used for the ventilation!.


The traps!, used to capture the animals,, well traps does not know if its is human or animals drop into it!.. can't imagine with those sharp steel piercing your body!

A visit to Chu Chi Tunnel will start after the entrance. With lecture hall where it can fit about 50 peoples a short briefing on the complex was developed during the war will be explained.

Here, in a hall or bunker, about 6 feet in the ground, the tour guide will explain briefly on how the under ground tunnel was created.

A total of 3 level of depth where each level of depth have its own reason and functions. How the smoke form the kitchen is dispersed, the bunker for sleeping, or for repair jobs or for meeting , etc ,,,was clearly explained.

Unless if you are the other parties during the war, you may not listened to this ! ,, hahahha! Some of them left, refused to hear! ,,

The area of Chu Chi tunnel was shown in the map, and surprisingly, this area was surrounded by Americans and South Vietnamese soldiers!.
