Padang Bukittinggi , Jul 2008

July 2008, aku dan isteri ke Padang dan seterusnya ke Bukittinggi, sebuah daerah di Sumatera Barat, SUMBAR. Padang, terletak di Sumatera Barat, dan merupakan ibu negeri untuk pemerintahan wilayah sumatera barat.

Padang city terletak di pantai barat Sumatera di kedudukan
0°44’00″ – 1°08’35″ S dan 100°05’05″ – 100°34’09″ E. Keluasan Padang adalah 694.96 KM square, Hampir 434.63 KM square ada lahkawasan gunung dan berbukit bukau dan selebih nya tanah rata dan didiami oleh penduduknya . Padang mempunyia pantai sepanjang 84 KM dan 19 pulau antaranya , Sikuai Island, dan Toran Island . Sementara bukit di Padang bernama Lampu Hill, Gunung Padang hill, Gado-Gado Hill, dan Pengambiran Hill.

Di Padang lah jugak terletaknya Bandar Udara Bandara, Bandara International Minang BIM.
sebuah lapangan terbang bertaraf antarabangsa, dimana flight dari Malaysia, akan ,mendarat disini.

Bandara ini di bangunkan pada tahun 2005 bagi menggatikan Tabing, sebuah lapangan terbang tentera, yg mana lebih kecil dari BIM ini.
